As a research fellow from Ethiopia, Dr. Menbere Mekonnen is bringing his expertise to Leibniz IPHT to work together on the development of sensors for food safety and environmental issues. In the future, he wants to inspire the next generation of researchers in his home country.

For more than ten years we have been working together with the renowned and multiple award-winning photographer Sven Döring from Dresden. During this time, we created an extensive image archive with several thousand photos, which impressively document the scientific development of the institute. We are happy to provide journalists with photographic material for editorial purposes free of charge upon request.
