Small Rods – Large Effect: IPHT Researchers Set Ideal Traps for Light
The development of novel and inexpensive nanomaterials for highly efficient solar cells is the declared goal of a new EU project that is being coordinated by the Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT). Partners in this project come from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Finland, Slovenia, and the United States.
Fast-paced Science: Fast Project Application, Faster Images
In December, a new project supported by the European Union started at the Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT). Further partners in this project include Friedrich Schiller University at Jena and the French company FASTLITE. In place of the usual, fixed amount of support funds, partners in this project are compensated with a free-of-charge technology transfer.
