Dr. Matthias Jäger, a research scientist at IPHT, is one of a total of eleven senior members from Germany appointed by the Optical Society of America (OSA) on June 6, 2016. Dr. Jäger received this appointment in honor of his research merits in the fields of optics and photonics, especially for his work in the area of fiber-optic modules.
