Research scientists at IPHT and the Institute for Physical Chemistry at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena were successful in imaging tissue samples five times faster than with conventional Raman microspectroscopy. This was carried out by combining a light-sheet microscope with a novel imaging spectrometer.
