Jena’s 10th annual summer school organized by the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT) and the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena will be held from July 7-11, 2014. This year’s event theme is “The Laser – A Universal Tool Spreads throughout the World”. Interested high school students in 10th and 11th grade from high schools across Thuringia will spend five days learning how lasers work and for what they can be used. [The PDF below contains the full German press release]
