Snapshots: Our New Everyday Life in the Corona Pandemic

The team in the sensor production is working overtime, the director is switching from one online meeting to the next and at the reception nothing is possible without advance notice. And the employees at home juggle work and childcare and some of them have not entered the institute for weeks.

Episode 6: Managing the research institute through the corona crisis

Benedict Diederich and René Lachmann give the starting signal. The two doctoral students have developed the optical toolbox UC2. Now they are working on a platform that will enable students to control their experiments under the microscope even when they are not in the laboratory: from their home computer.
