On October 22 and 23, 2009, the Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT) was the venue of a workshop on superconducting digital electronics. PD Dr. Hans-Georg Meyer, coordinator of the EU project S Pulse (Shrink-Path of Ultra-Low Power Superconducting Electronics), was able to welcome 25 delegates from Germany, the United States, Japan, France, and Finland at IPHT. The focus of the presentations and discussions was the proliferation of know-how in the production and application of superconducting digital circuits.
