To further improve the optical analysis of biological samples, the “Jena Biophotonic and Imaging Laboratory” (JBIL) was officially founded on July 1, 2016. Research scientists gain unique access to cross-method, multi-modal imaging methods. JBIL’s partners include the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT), the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (FSU), and Jena University Hospital (UKJ).
