High resolution (NA=0.8) in lensless in-line holographic microscopy with glass sample carriers

For lensless digital in-line holographic microscopy a high resolution corresponding to a numerical aperture of 0.8 is reached using the tile superposition propagation technique previously presented by a part of the authors. In experiments glass sample carriers are used. These generate multiple reflections which lead to additional disturbing interferences in the hologram. To suppress the additional interferences, we use partially coherent laser light in an optimized arrangement.
