The aim of the project is to explore a measurement setup for combined hyperspectral wide-field imaging, multimodal nonlinear microscopy and fs laser ablation. The combination of imaging techniques will be tested on tissue samples of head and neck tumors to determine the optimal parameters for the detection of pathological tissue structures. Algorithms for automatic detection of pathological tissue structures using multimodal nonlinear
microscopy data will be explored. Furthermore, the imaging techniques and fs-laser ablation will be implemented in a compact endoscopic probe, with Leibniz-IPHT being responsible for the development of the electronics and software.

The project is funded by the BMBF under the number 13GW0370E and co-financed by the project sponsor VDI Technologiezentrum.
