Jena Biochip Initiative Receives Thuringian Research Award
Christoph Matschie, Thuringian Minister for Education, Science, and Culture, honored the Jena Biochip Initiative (JBCI) with the Thuringian Award for Applied Research 2010. The group of young researchers directed by Dr. Robert Möller received the award for their work on “Technological Platform for Chip-based On-Site Detection of Microorganisms.” The awards ceremony took place on April 1, 2011, as part of a celebratory event at the Aula on the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena.
