Expertise from Nine Leibniz Institutes Culminated into One Chip
A sensor platform is designed to predict acute, severe exacerbations in chronic inflammatory respiratory diseases. As part of the “EXASENS” pilot project, nine Leibniz institutes are working together on researching point-of-care technology for the prediction and diagnosis of chronic inflammatory respiratory diseases. This alliance is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with 6.25 million euros and contributes to the building and strengthening of the subject of health technologies.
