There are a variety of methods for measuring the characteristics of nanoscale resonators. In either of these methods it is necessary to transform the mechanical vibrations of nanoscale mechanical resonator (NAMR) into variations of an electric signal. The magnetomotive method is an example of such a transformation. It is the most widespread method for measuring the characteristics of NAMR. However, the implementation of this method technologically is not simple as it requires the metallization of NAMR surface, arranging the current leads, etc. Here we suggest a new method for NAMR characterization which is free of the drawbacks inherent to other methods.
