Workshop on „Droplet-based microfluidics for high-throughput applications in life sciences“

The workshop sets its focus on the application of the „Dropled-Based Microfluidics“ platform for cellular assays and single cell analysis. It is aimed to be an interdisciplinary scientific forum for discussion of recent developments and future prospectives on this topic.

The workshop will give an interdisciplinary overview on recent achievements of segmented flow based lab-on-a-chip systems. Main topics will focus on

1. Applications for cell-based assays and single cell analysis

2. Microfluidics and functional micro- and nanostructures integration and digital microfluidics

3. Photonic and optofluidic approaches for the readout of information.

Demonstration experiments and lab-on-a-chip setups are running during the poster session.
