As Expert on nonlinear magnonics for neuromorphic computing, Dr. Schultheiß from the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf will demonstrate how a single magnetic vortex can function as a magnonic reservoir capable of processing temporal information, recognizing patterns, and forecasting chaotic time series. Enabled by nonlinear magnon–magnon interactions and frequency-multiplexed spin-wave modes, these systems combine memory, nonlinearity, and high-dimensional information processing within a single magnetic element.
