- Contact point for new project applications, information and advice on application procedures, close monitoring and supervision of strategic application procedures
- Internationalization Unit: Identification and further development of strategic international partnerships, conceptual input
- Initiation of a variety of international cooperations at central and decentral level and support of internationalisation as a cross-sectional task of the Leibniz-IPHT
- Accompaniment of EU project contract negotiations including coordination of the associated internal processes as well as acceptance and review of the notification of third-party funds
- Support for science in the search for suitable European/international funding options
