Ramona Scheibinger studied Physics at the FSU in Jena and is working  on temperature-tunable supercontinuum generation in liquid-core fibers as a PhD student at the Leibniz-IPHT in Jena. She is funded by the international reseach training group 'Guided Light, Tightly Packed', and did a short research stay in Québec (Canada). She is an active memeber of the PhD council of the Leibniz-IPHT and represent the PhD students of the 'Hybrid fibers' group.
