My current research, supervised by Prof. Markus A. Schmidt, focused on modeling and fabricating 3D waveguides on silicon chip for effective light-matter interaction and light manipulation. Using two-photon polymerization technique, my thesis aims to transfer various light-guiding concepts into photonic crystal fiber onto silicon chip. With collaborative projects with LMU Munich, Imperial College London, University of Stuttgart, HU Berlin and PolyU HK, we are developing practical chip devices for quantum information processing, atomic spectroscopy and OAM light generation.
